A volatile homeless man punched a woman on a lower Manhattan subway platform before he smashed into the operator’s window of an oncoming train, landing on the driver’s lap, police said Friday.

Cops arrested Jeremy Gonzalez, 29, after he was pulled out of the train cab on Thursday night at the Chambers Street station.

Gonzalez was waiting on a Chambers Street platform of the A/C/E lines when he inexplicably began swearing in Spanish at the victim, a 23-year-old woman, at around 11:45 p.m., cops said.

As a train pulled in, Gonzalez sucker-punched her in the back of the head. The woman fell to the ground, injuring her hand, as Gonzalez ran and bashed through the operator’s window.

Responding officers apprehended Gonzalez, who has been charged criminal mischief, assault, and disorderly conduct. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital with head injuries.

The woman was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital with bruising to her face.
