The ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ actor chooses to spend some quality time with his family while focusing on his road to full recovery following a near-fatal car crash.

AceShowbizKevin Hart is spending time with his nearest and dearest as he recovers from the terrifying car crash that almost left him paralysed.

The 40-year-old actor narrowly escaped death when the driver of his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda lost control and crashed in Calabasas, California on September a. Hart, who was a passenger in the car at the time, fractured his spine in three places and underwent major surgery.

On Saturday, November 2, the star was spotted collecting takeout food from a Calabasas mall, where he spoke to fans in a clip obtained by the New York Post, admitting it will be some time before he’s back onstage performing again.

“I’m doing good, man,” the comic said. “I’m feeling great. I’m blessed to be alive, brother.”

Detailing his gruelling recovery, the “Jumanji: The Next Level” star added: “It’s a process, gonna take some time. Right now, (I’m) relaxing, enjoying the family and recovering. That’s all that matters right now.”

Kevin recently returned to social media to update fans on his progress, as he confessed his “appreciation for life is through the roof.”

Meanwhile, the star pulled out of an appearance at the Legacy of Vision Gala awards gala last month – his first planned public appearance since the incident – so he could focus on his recovery.
