  • AN ARSENAL fan held up a hilarious 'Wenger IN' banner at the Emirates yesterday amid calls for Unai Emery to quit.

Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move to the Emirates recently as pressure builds on the Spaniard.

The Gunners threw away a lead AGAIN on Saturday as Wolves came back from behind to draw 1-1.

Arsenal still sit fifth in the Premier League but after Crystal Palace rescued a point from being 2-0 down at the Emirates the week before, fans of the North Londoners are not happy.

And one of Arsenal's fickle fanbase was able to see the funny side of things yesterday with his banner.

The man had doctored a 'Wenger OUT' banner – striking through the 'OUT' and writing 'IN' in capital letters underneath.

  • UNAI EMERY begins a big week at Arsenal with his future under increased scrutiny.

According to The Times, Head of Football Raul Sanllehi dined with Jose Mourinho last week and left impressed with the Special One's vision for the club.

Emery is believed to have “one or two games of credit” left, but the Gunners board are not afraid to pull the trigger should results fail to improve.

But SunSport's Daniel Cutts believes Wolves' Nuno Espirito Santo is the man Arsenal should turn to.

He wrote after Saturday's 1-1 draw at the Emirates: “The hierarchy in North London could do worse than cutting their losses with the Spaniard and appointing Nuno Espirito Santo.

“His team were everything Arsenal aren't at the minute. Starting with an eleven that looks like it wants to play for their manager.

“Emery must be sacked, this week, and Nuno is the man to sort this shambles out.”

The Gunners board will also be concerned about the happiness of star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon striker is said to be considering his future after enduring a difficult few weeks in North London.

Angry Arsenal fans hurled abuse at Aubameyang in the aftermath of a disappointing 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace last week.
