JUSTIN HOYTE was just 21-years-old when he first experienced a trip to Bramall Lane as an Arsenal first team player.
It was December 30, 2006 – an injury-hit Arsene Wenger side were hoping to ensure they kept up their title challenge against Neil Warnock’s top-flight newbies in Sheffield United.
But it’s an away day Hoyte has little memory of – perhaps because he has been trying to wipe his mind of it ever since.
He told SunSport: “If I’m honest I can’t really remember the game itself.
“My dad had come up to watch but I got substituted after 64 minutes.
“All I can remember is that it was really, really cold and rainy and my hands were frozen.
“It’s such a tough and horrible place to go, and Arsenal found it especially tough.
SOL CAMPBELL is in advanced talks with Southend after Henrik Larsson rejected the League One side.
Sky Sports claims the former England international is ready to take charge of the Shrimpers following Kevin Bond’s resignation in September.
Campbell has been without a side after having his Macclesfield contract terminated in August, just eight months after taking the job.
It has since emerged he went FOUR months without receiving payment from the League Two side, who he rescued from certain relegation last season.
But Campbell now looks in the frame for the Southend hot seat after former Celtic striker Larsson rejected their offer.
REAL MADRID reckon Arsenal will make a move for Isco in January, according to reports in Spain.
The midfielder was heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in the summer.
And he has started just two La Liga games for Zinedine Zidane's side this season.
Spanish outlet AS claim the club expect the Gunners and Manchester City to be interested during the upcoming transfer window.

ARSENAL fans are wasting no time in comparing William Saliba to Virgil Van Dijk after his brilliant display for Saint-Etienne over the weekend.
The 18-year-old was mightily impressive in the 1-0 away win over Bordeaux in Ligue 1.
It meant the fourth clean sheet in five games for Les Verts as they went to 10th in the table.
And one particular moment of strength and skill in the 86th minute left Arsenal supporters purring.
Saliba is shown muscling an opponent off the ball near the touchline, dispossessing him and stopping the ball going out of play before building an attack from the back.
It was exactly the kind of physicality fans want to see after spells of serious uncertainty in the Arsenal back line.
