Jenni “JWoww” Farley‘s son Greyson, who is autistic, has made incredible strides over the past year.
The “Jersey Shore” star released a video showing off the 3-year-old’s progress since beginning treatment with We Care Autism six months ago.
“Thirty hours a week of ABA [applied behavioral analysis] therapy has been a gamechanger,” Farley, 33, said in the video. “Greyson goes to preschool three hours a day, five days a week, and his ABA therapist goes there for two hours a day with him to really help transition him into the everyday world with people and little kids his own age.
“You’re gonna see the craziest difference ever,” she told viewers.
Greyson is seen reciting his ABCs, identifying animals on cards and successfully counting.
“This was all within a year,” an emotional Farley said. “Going from not acknowledging your name or being able to sit for literally 30 seconds to doing — I can’t even explain it.”
“Our next goal is to be fully potty trained, [count] 1 through 20 on his own,” she continued. “I feel like you’re just taking over the world one day at a time.”
For her son’s third birthday in May, the MTV star recapped Greyson’s journey from birth to his early intervention therapy that began two days after his second birthday.
“You didn’t know your name, you didn’t know how to say mommy… as you turn three, you know countless words, call me mommy 10394 times a day and your smile has grown 10x,” she wrote in the tribute. “To my perfect son, happy birthday… I’ll continue to hold you every night until my last breath.”
Farley and ex-husband Roger Mathews are also parents to 5-year-old daughter Meilani.
