MANNY PACQUIAO has shortlisted Danny and Mikey Garcia as potential opponents to face after beating Keith Thurman.

PacMan, 40, rolled back the clock to outpoint Thurman in Las Vegas in July claiming the WBA title.

Welterweight champions Errol Spence and Shawn Porter – who clash in a unification bout next weekend – have both called for a fight against Filipino icon Pacquiao.

However, according to ESPN Pacquiao's MP Promotions representative Sean Gibbons revealed ex-champion Danny and four-weight champion Mikey are frontrunners to face the WBA titleist next.

Mikey leaped from lightweight to welterweight in March but was defeated by IBF king Spence in a one-sided 12-round beating.

Despite holding the Lineal super-lightweight title the 31-year-old plans to remain at 147lbs.

And Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach is open to Mikey challenging PacMan, with the winner then facing welterweight champs Spence and Terence Crawford.

Roach said: “I like that fight. He’s more around Pacquiao’s weight. Maybe Crawford and Spence can fight, and we fight the winner.”

Mikey’s trainer and older brother Robert Garcia believes his fighter will only remain at welterweight to face Pacquiao, with the boxers both evenly matched at the weight.

Garcia told SecondsOut: “The reason I said Pacquiao is because he’s probably the biggest fight.

“It’s also a man that moved up from the smaller divisions little by little, even though he already is a solid welterweight.

“He’s not that much bigger than Mikey. I think Mikey is a little bit taller than him, but that’s the difference.

“And, I don’t think that would be as much a disadvantage as we did against Spence.”

Ex-WBC champion Danny has not fought since knocking out Adrian Granados in April, but suffered title losses to Thurman and Porter beforehand.

Danny called out Pacquiao in April, and claimed he has the tools to give PacMan “hell” if they fought.

He said: "I’ve got that good power in both hands, I’m a good counter-puncher and I’ve got good timing.

“So, I think those are three things that’ll give Manny Pacquiao hell in his career.

“And those are three things I possess, so I definitely think that’s a great matchup for me.”
