Scarlett Moffatt posted a throwback picture of herself on Instagram, and it left fans speechless. 

Rewinding back the years, the TV personality uploaded a snap of herself during her university stint. 

The snap, which was taken 10 years ago, featured the northern beauty posing with her mate before a pub crawl. 

Scarlett has undergone a massive beauty transformation over the last decade, and the brunette bombshell looked worlds away from her student days. 

Wearing a t-shirt from student drinking night Carnage, the 29-year-old looked unrecognisable as she posed for the camera in a heavy coat of makeup. 

Scarlett finished her look with a thick coat of neon pink lipstick and equally colourful blusher. 

Uploaded to her 2million followers, she captioned the post: “Throwback Thursday to the extreme 10 years ago. I can only apologise for my eyebrows, my attempt at contouring with apparently only orange based makeup.”

Fans soon inundated the beauty with messages about their own uni memories along with her glamorous transformation. 

One fan put: “You’ve changed so much!”

While another put: “This was the rage back in 2009. It was all about pink blush.”

A third commented: “Being orange was a right of passage as a Geordie.”

Thankfully Scarlett has moved on from her days of turning herself into a human Wotsit – and she’s looking great.
