The Spanish royal, 47, was as radiant ever as she met with children studying at the city’s Batalla de Pavia School and greeted members of staff.
One young woman looked particularly overwhelmed to meet the famous visitor, as she clasped the monarch’s hand in greeting.
The mother-of-two looked beautiful in a silk white blouse and a pair of smart black trousers, as she made her way into the establishment.
Letizia teamed her smart attire with a statement white belt that cinched in at her svelte waist and a pair of stylish black heels.

During her visit, the Queen was seen sitting down to talk with the school’s pupils before taking to the stage to pose for a photo with the school’s teachers.
The queen’s appearance comes a day after she joined her husband King Felipe VI of Spain, 51, to meet with the Spanish basketball team at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid following their victory at the Basketball World cup on September 15.

Queen Letizia is the mother to Princesses Leonor, 13, and Sofia, 11, with husband King Felipe, whom she married at the Almudena Cathedral at Royal Palace, Madrid, in May 2004.
She had previously worked as a reporter for the news channel 24 Horas where she held a weekly anchor position on the show Informe Semanal and also a position on the daily morning news programme.
In 2003, just months after getting engaged to King Felipe, she left her job as a reporter.
The Queen of Spain, who undertook her first solo engagement on June 23, 2014, attended public high school and completed a degree at the Complutense University of Madrid.
She later gained an MA in Audiovisual Journalism at the Institute for Studies in Audiovisual Journalism.
Queen Letizia, who previously worked as a reporter for the news channel 24 Horas, smiled as she watched the children working at their desks
The royal entered a classroom in the establishment to speak with the school’s children and share her well wishes
