BECKY LYNCH is unsure whether Ronda Rousey will ever return to WWE – but she warned the “little weirdo” she is “waiting” for her.
“The Man” – real name Rebecca Quin – made history in April by competing in the first-ever female WrestleMania main event.
Lynch not only became the first person to claim a pinfall victory over Rousey in the ring, but her triumph over “Rowdy” and Charlotte Flair in the triple threat clash led to her being crowned the both Raw and SmackDown Women’s champ.
Despite losing the blue brand’s belt at Money in the Bank shortly afterwards, she has successfully defended the Raw one numerous times since.
Meanwhile, UFC legend Rousey has not been seen on WWE TV since her ‘Mania setback after taking a break to start a family with husband Travis Browne.
However, speculation continues to mount that “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” could soon be returning to the squared-circle when SmackDown moves to the Fox network in October.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
During an interview with Fightful, Lynch was quizzed on whether fans will see Rousey again.
Despite the “Irish Lasskicker” being as seemingly in the dark as the rest of us, that did not stop her delivering a warning to the 32-year-old.
Lynch said: “I don’t know if we will. I’ll be here holding the company up if she does.
“We still have a one-on-one match to have.
“I’ll be holding this championship until someone pries it out of my cold, dead hands.
“So if she ever wants to come at me – Ronnie, I’m here waiting, you little weirdo.”
Lynch, 32, added: “I want to make money, I want to be the best of all time.
“At the end of the day, I beat her and she left. Who’s doing better?”
Lynch’s more immediate concern will be on gaining revenge on Sasha Banks.
“The Boss” made a shock comeback last week on Raw and delivered a brutal beatdown with a steel chair to both Lynch and Natalya.
