Cristiano Ronaldo was left fuming on Friday night as his Al-Nassr side were beaten 3-0 by their rivals Al-Hilal in a bitter Saudi Pro League clash – as he sarcastically blew kisses at fans who chanted for Lionel Messi.

The Portuguese was visibly upset at full time as Al-Nassr were beaten 3-0 and failed to make ground at the top of the Saudi top-flight.

Ronaldo was joined by former Liverpool forward Sadio Mane as both started the top of the table match, but neither were able to find the back of the net in 90 minutes.

Al-Hilal starred in front of their home supporters, winning courtesy of goals from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

There were several high-profile moments involving Ronaldo as the former Real Madrid, Juventus and Man United star struggled to make an impact.

Chants supporting Lionel Messi – Ronaldo’s career rival – echoed around the King Fahd International Stadium, however, the Al-Nassr star responded sarcastically.

Ronaldo blew kisses to the home supporters that were attempting to antagonise him and smiled as he left the pitch at half time with the match still goalless.

However, the visitors fell apart in the second half with A-Hilal finding the back of the net three times in under 30 minutes as they took control of proceedings.

Ronaldo and Messi shared a long-lasting career rivalry as they competed to be crowned as the world’s best player year on year

Ronaldo appeared furious at full-time having played the entirety of the encounter and failing to find the back of the net for the first time in four league games.

The 38-year-old was seen in deep conversation with a Saudi representative at the end of the game as he walked off the pitch and back towards the changing room.

Ronaldo waggled a finger at the individual and shook his head in a disapproving manner after the match had ended.

He continued to animatedly speak with the Saudi representative who continued the dialogue while home supporters jeered Ronaldo as he looked to head down the tunnel.
