A YOUTH was seen smashing up the bonnet of an £800,000 Porsche Carrera GT with a wrench in broad daylight in shocking footage.

The teen stands on top of the vehicle and repeatedly whacks it with a metal socket wrench during the unbelievable attack on the luxury sports car.

Stunned onlooker Ryan Hambrook couldn't believe his eyes when he captured the incident on his way home from work in Kent on Friday.

The 28-year-old drainage worker stopped to record the incident thinking the disgruntled owner might want it as evidence.

The video shows a younger male accompanied by an older man and woman, standing next to what appears to be a red Porsche Cayman and a black Carrera GT.

The youngster is given the hand tool by the older male and begins relentlessly smashing the bonnet of the stunning sports car.

As well as the dents in the bodywork, it will surely be a substantial dent in someone's bank balance too – as the classic car, that used to cost £330,000 new, can now fetch up to £800,000 after the models stopped being made in 2007.

The older man appears to even guide the unidentified teen, sporting a grey tracksuit, where to hit the vehicle as he continues to traumatically go to town on the car.

He continues the outrageous bashing with vim and vigour for around 50 seconds before he returns the wrench to his older mentor.

Car-lover Ryan can be heard sighing, "Oh no! What are you doing?!" as he watches the German masterpiece get battered in broad daylight.

He later shared his recording to Facebook that evening in a post, writing: "F***. Folkestone Road."

Ryan told the Sun Online: "I was driving back from work and I saw the older guy stood on top of the car hitting it, I assumed he didn't own the car and the owner would want as much evidence as he needed so I filmed it until I'd gotten enough evidence and then drove home.

"I was shocked to see it happening, it's not something you see every day.

"Folkestone Road isn't the best of areas but I've never seen anything like that. I just thought well, you don't see that every day."

The post has now attracted hundreds of comments, likes, and shares from Facebook users who shared their divided opinions of the supercar smash-up.

Some social media users have speculated that it was the owner of the car that was encouraging the damage, with locals later saying the vehicle had been discovered abandoned at the side of a road.

"Wow, every hit hurts my soul!" one said, while some suggested the owner of the dented Porsche could have been after a bogus insurance claim.

One resident commented: "So the people walking past then, not one even looked. Are we so accustomed to this behaviour in Dover that people don't even blink an eye?

"Appalling. Come do that to my car you little s***head , you'll be wearing that pole up your a**e!"

Another joked: "I think it might have a few scratches."

"Well done Ryan Hambrook for recording this. Too many people turn away cause they are weak. This is scum, I hope they’ve been recognised," one wrote.

One commentor even claimed to be the assailant with a grudge against Porsche's in the comment section, and wrote: "Everyone shut up man he told me to do it it was his car."

"He said he just wanted the front smashed up so I could put a new fibreglass on it. And I jumped all over the bonnet the first time."

It is not clear if he is the youth in the video.
