A group of seven extremely dangerous sex offenders that includes three pedophiles have been freed from jail to protect them from coronavirus. The perverts were freed from correctional facilities in Orange County, California, on April 7, with local prosecutor Todd Spitzer warning residents to be on their guard.
Their number includes child rapist Jose Oregel, 46, who has convictions for unlawful sexual intercourse with a child, and oral copulation with a child. He was freed just 18 days after being sent back to prison for violating the terms of his parole.
Also back on the streets is Kyle Winton, 40, who was found guilty of annoying or molesting a child. Winton is a parole violator who does not report his whereabouts, Spitzer said. The third pedophile freed is Rudy Magdaleno, 39, a convicted child molester who has also been found guilty of indecent exposure and battery.
Magdaleno has violated parole five times, with his most recent 142 day stint behind bars coming after he failed to charge his GPS ankle tracker. Spitzer says Magdaleno ignores a condition of his parole that orders him to regularly report his whereabouts.
Spitzer, who is District Attorney for Orange County, blasted the decision to free the perverts, calling them ‘the most dangerous kind of criminal and the most likely to reoffend.’

According to KTLA, he added: ‘These are not the kind of people who should be getting a break. It is not the court’s responsibility to control the jail population by releasing these dangerous criminals back into our communities.
‘The residents of Orange County deserve to have the peace of mind that registered sex offenders are being held accountable and not just let out the front door of a jail by a court commissioner who refuses to follow the law.’
Spitzer also warned members of the public to be on the look out for four other sex offenders – Luis Ramirez, 27, James Bowling, 50, Calvin Coleman, 52, and Mario Sandoval, 45.
Thousands of prisoners have been released early on temporarily because of the pandemic, which is known to have infected more than a million Americans, and killed close to 60,000. They include violent offenders, with scores of murderers among those freed.
