TERRIFYING footage shows a car racing towards a group of George Floyd protesters in Seattle last night before the driver exited the vehicle brandishing a GUN.

The crazed gunman reportedly shot a black protestor named Daniel in the arm who was pictured being treated by medics.



Authorities confirmed that one man, aged 27, was struck by a bullet during the disturbing incident and is now in a stable condition in hospital.

As medics assisted him, Daniel was heard saying on camera that he confronted the gunman and punched him before being blasted by the pistol.

He said: "I catch him and I punch him in the face.

"I hear the gunshot go off in my arm… My whole thing was to protect those people down there."

Video taken by a reporter for the Seattle Times showed the car speeding towards the protestors, in chilling echoes of Charlottesville, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of the city.

Bloodcurdling screams can be heard erupting from demonstrators as the man drove the car towards the crowd.

The vehicle was stopped by a barricade before some protestors tried to pull the driver out through an open window.

However, as the man emerges from the car brandishing a handgun, demonstrators run for their lives.

According to the Seattle Fire Dept, he man was detained by police officers at the scene and taken into custody.

As of last night, it is unknown whether the gunman has been charged.

The wounded victim named Daniel was pictured being helped to his feet by medics.
