TWO people have been charged in connection the deaths of two boys aged 13 and 14 at a house in Sheffield.

Four other children were rushed to hospital after the tragedy unfolded on Friday morning.

Police confirmed today a man, 37, and woman, 34, have been charged and will appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court tomorrow.

They haven't confirmed what the charges are or the names of the suspects but they were arrested on Friday on suspicion of murder.

The two boys aged 14 and 13, died after frantic attempts to resuscitate them.

Two girls, aged seven months and three years, and two younger boys — ten and 11 — have now been released from hospital.

Police were scrambled to the home in the Shiregreen area over concerns for the occupants' welfare at around 7.30am.

Horrified neighbours told how one boy was taken away on a stretcher as paramedics frantically tried to resuscitate him.

The other children wept as they were rushed from the three-bed semi to hospital.

On Friday, teenagers sobbed in the street in their uniforms as the devastating news spread.

Floral tributes and balloons have been left outside the house for the two boys following the double tragedy.
