A WETHERSPOONS barmaid has landed a second job working with the circus as a "pickled person".

As a pickled person Jade Morgan, 22, will squeeze herself into jars for £400-a-week.

Jade will swap pouring bottles for climbing into them during her time off work at her local pub in Dudley, West Mids.

She achieved her life-long dream of being in the Circus of Horrors after spotting the job advert for a pickled person, Teesside Live reports.

The job description said that applicants "must be flexible" and "not suffer from claustrophobia".

At the interview she had to squeeze herself into a 2ft (0.6m) high by 18in (45cm) wide jar.

Jade prepared for this tough task by cramming herself into small spaces at home.

She started with a washing basket, then cupboards and even stuffed herself into a washing machine.

Jade said: "It has been a life-long dream to be in the Circus of Horrors and I finally got the bottle to approach them about getting the job.

"It was a bit scary at first but I got my mum to help me squeeze into tight spaces to practice.

"It gets easier every time but took a lot of doing to begin with.

"I really enjoy my job at Wetherspoons and I am thankful to my bosses for giving me the time off to run away with the circus."

John Haze, Circus of Horrors director said: "Jade is a perfect bottle blonde to become a pickled person and the act is always a crowd favourite."

Jade joins the Circus of Horrors for its performance at the KSS Steel Mill in Wolverhampton on Tuesday, 16 Nov.

The show then continues its UK tour.
