A “perfect” couple has been killed in a horrific car crash in Australia just one day after their seventh wedding anniversary, leaving behind four children.

Sabine Mather, 31, and James Mather, 36, died in a head-on collision with another vehicle Sunday afternoon on Bussell Highway in Capel, about 124 miles from their home of Perth, Australian outlet 7News reported.

The pair had been heading to pick up their children after a weekend away celebrating their anniversary, the outlet reported.

They were pronounced dead at the scene, just one day after they toasted the seven-year milestone in their marriage, the report said.

They are survived by sons Jethro, 7, and Isaac, 5, in addition to James’ two older daughters, Ella-Jade, 13, and Sofia, 15.

The sons will be taken care of by their grandparents, while the girls will be raised by their mother, the outlet reported.

“Those who knew Sabine and Jim Mather would describe them as a friendly, caring, and down to earth couple who were loved by everyone they met,” Sabine’s cousin Fabienne Mckirdy wrote on a GoFundMe page.

“They were parents who would do anything for their children.”

The GoFundMe page is raising money for funeral arrangements as well as to help with the future care of the four children.

“The family needs all the help they can get during this sad time,” Mckirdy said.

“We can’t bring back Jim and Sabine, but we can help to ease the financial burdens that lie ahead.”

Friends remembered the pair in the wake of their deaths as a “perfect” couple.

Timothy Michael Hughes paid tribute on social media to his longtime pal, saying he was heartbroken over the loss, 7News reported.

“My best friend. My best man. THE best man. I love you Jim Mather. You two were so perfect together. I love you too Sabine Mather,” he said.
