He might need a medic himself after this car heist.

A driver has told police that he lost an estimated $500,000 worth of surgical equipment when his Jeep Compass was stolen in Manhattan on Saturday.

The incident unfolded at 6:15 p.m. in front of 150 East 38th St. when the driver left his keys in the ignition of the Jeep and stepped away from the car, sources said.

The distraught motorist, whose name was not released, valued the medical equipment in the car at a hefty half a million dollars, source added.

It’s unclear what the driver was doing when he left the Jeep unattended.
