JERSEY Jon recently became a main cast member on American Pickers, however he's made several appearances in the past.

Jon first starred on the decade-long History Channel series in season seven, and has since had random appearances when meeting up with Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz.

Who's Jersey Jon from American Pickers?

Jersey Jon, also known as Jon Szalay, is a motorcycle antiques expert.

Jon is well-recognized in the motorcycle industry for his work and as a main consultant for the cast of American Pickers.

He began by restoring and repairing furniture for several local antique shops, and building cabinetry for the kiosks on a board walk in South Jersey.

Since then he's opened up his own business, First National Antique Restorations located in Barnegat, New Jersey.

How does Jersey Jon known Mike Wolfe?

In the show, Jersey Jon was introduced to fans as a close-friend of Mike Wolfe.

Jon told the Antique Motorcycle Foundation that he knew Wolfe long before American Pickers was even a thing.

"He's a great friend. When he is working on the east coast, he sleeps on my couch," Jon said.

"And when I go out west for the Davenport meet, he and I would go picking up and down the Mississippi River."

How can I watch American Pickers?

American Pickers airs Mondays at 9pm on the History Channel.

The show’s plot centers around Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and Danielle Colby traveling around the US in search of rare artifacts and special treasures they can purchase from collectors and resell in their antiques shops.

In addition to the people Wolfe and Fritz meet on the road, some episodes feature celebrities or items that once belonged to them.

American Pickers' store Antique Archaeology is opened in two locations.

The flagship shop is located in LeClaire, Iowa, and has been open since 2000.
