ALEX JONES has become a household name to Brits, thanks to her job on The One Show.

Today (September 14, 2022) she joins Huw Edwards in leading the BBC One coverage of Queen Elizabeth II's Procession to Lying-in-State.

Who is Alex Jones?

Alex Jones is Welsh TV presenter born on March 18, 1977 in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, Wales, and can speak Welsh fluently.

One of her first jobs was with Welsh TV Channel, S4C as a presenter on singing programme Cân i Gymru (A Song for Wales).

Growing up, Alex went to ballet classes and later on studied theatre, film and television at Aberystwyth University.

During that time, she also appeared on Sky One's reality game show, Prickly Heat.

Once she left university, she started her career off as a television researcher, and she quickly moved up the ladder and started working for the BBC.

Her artistic talents led her to compete in Strictly Come Dancing in 2011, in the ninth series of the show.
