FOR ten years, actor Channing Tatum was married to Jenna Dewan after meeting on the set of their movie Step Up.

The couple welcomed their daughter, Everly, in 2013, six years before their divorce.

What did Jenna Dewan say about Channing Tatum?

Dewan is now opening up about her experience with Tatum shortly after their daughter's birth.

In the latest episode of Dear Media's podcast Dear Gabby, the 40-year-old actress discussed the difficulty of being away from her ex-husband in the weeks after giving birth to their daughter.

After the birth, Dewan said she continued to work and travel with the then-newborn.

However, Tatum "wasn't available" for some time due to his work schedule.

"I had to travel with her and at the time, Chan wasn't available to be with us for the most part. So, it was me, my doula, and Evie all by ourselves traveling at six weeks," she shared.

The actress explained how balancing motherhood and work was "really hard," especially as she was set for "long hours."

"I did have her on set with me constantly. It was just really difficult," Dewan added.

Dewan also revealed that she had "a lot of postpartum anxiety" at the time.

"It was like, I just never stopped. You know, you're up a couple times in the night and then you're working all day," she recalled. "I was breastfeeding, I was pumping, I was without a partner, I mean it was just craziness."

What did Jenna Dewan previously say about her divorce from Channing Tatum?

Dewan's comments come two years after she opened up about her split from Tatum in her memoir Gracefully You.

In her memoir, she revealed they'd split after their dynamic “moved into hurting."

“I’d come to realize the dynamic I was in wasn't serving me nor was it serving my daughter," The Step Up actress wrote.

"First and foremost I had to accept the realization this isn't working and had moved into hurting."

“I was just gutted," she said in an interview with People in October 2019. “It was so difficult for me.

“It was the loss of an idealistic future for myself and my life. What does that now look like for me? Where do I begin? I met him when I was 24, I didn't know life without Chan.

“The separation tested me in ways I hadn't thought possible. I started to wonder if everything I believed in and always talked about was real. Could anyone or anything ever be trusted?"

Who is Channing Tatum dating now?

Tatum is currently single after splitting from Jessie J in April 2020.
