In the clip that has been surfacing on social media, the actress/director hints at a disagreement between ‘The Peanut Butter Falcon’ actor and Florence Pugh.

AceShowbizOlivia Wilde might have lied about firing Shia LaBeouf from her movie “Don’t Worry Darling“. In a new video that leaked on Friday, August 26, the director could be seen begging the actor not to quit the project

In the 2022 driving clip, which was apparently sent to Shia, Olivia said, “Shia, I just went riding my horse, very sweaty, but I just wanted to reach out because I feel like I’m not ready to give up on this yet. And I, too, am heartbroken, and I want to figure this out.”

Olivia insinuated that there was a disagreement between Shia and Florence Pugh. “I think this might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo, and I want to know if you’re open to giving this a shot with me, with us,” she stated.

“If she really commits, if she really puts her mind and heart into it at this point, and if you guys can make peace – and I respect your point of view, I respect hers,” the mom of two added. “But if you guys can do it, what do you think? Is there hope? … Let me know.”

The video made its way online just a few days after Olivia opened up about replacing Shia with her boyfriend, Harry Styles, for the psychological thriller film. “I say this as someone who is such an admirer of his work. His process was not conducive to the ethos that I demand in my productions,” she told Variety.

“He has a process that, in some ways, seems to require a combative energy, and I don’t personally believe that is conducive to the best performances,” she continued. “I believe that creating a safe, trusting environment is the best way to get people to do their best work. Ultimately, my responsibility is to the production and to the cast to protect them. That was my job.”

Shia, however, denied he was fired from “Don’t Worry Darling”. In an email sent to the outlet on Thursday, he said he “quit the film due to lack of rehearsal time” on August 17, 2020. He reportedly forwarded two emails he sent to Olivia, in which he penned, “You and I both know the reasons for my exit. I quit your film because your actors and I couldn’t find time to rehearse.”
