ULRIKA Jonsson fuelled rumours she's set to join the lineup of this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as she appeared on Loose Women today.

The 52-year-old TV star appeared on the show wearing a camouflage jacket and admitted her kids are "really excited" about speculation that she will enter the jungle.

"Are you wearing camouflage because you're going into the jungle by any chance?" Kaye Adams asked.
"I didn't even think about that," she laughed before pulling a knowing face.

"That's the rumour that you're going into the jungle," Ruth Langsford added.

"Yes the rumour made its way to me as well somebody said and my kids were really excited and I said, 'Couldn't I do something like Strictly?'

"And they went, 'No, that's for old people, which is rude, but no, I don't know anything about the jungle, hate to dispel that myth."

Other celebrities rumoured for I'm A Celeb's 2019 lineup so far include Paul Hollywood's ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam, Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe and Love Island's Olivia Attwood.

Also during the show, Ulrika revealed she feared she would die without ever having sex again.

She from her husband Brian Monet after 11 years of marriage in April of this year, revealing at the time they had sex just once in eight years.

The lack of intimacy led her to consider asking if she could have an affair, which she has now revealed was due to concerns about never enjoying intimacy again.

Speaking on Loose Women today, she said: “I thought about asking my husband for an affair, I had that mad thought in absolute desperation.

“I thought, ‘I want to stay in this marriage. If he doesn’t want to, I don’t want to die without having intimacy ever again’. That’s kind of how it felt.”

Discussing why she decided to be so open about her sex-free marriage, she said: “I was obviously profoundly affected by it and, to be quite honest, wondered if there was other people going through similar things.

"Mine, I guess, also coupled with going through the menopause and feeling different about my own body.”

She went on to say that she was still interested in sex but admitted she didn’t instigate much for fear of getting rejected.

“I was quite interested… and obviously my ex-husband is not here to defend himself. I tried very, very hard at increasingly regular intervals to bring the subject up, it was of great concern to me,” she said.

“We worked really well as a couple and as parents and as a family, I think it was amazing. It was 100% the reason I wanted to stay in the marriage and keep going.”

Ulrika, who has been married three times, continued: “I probably only instigated it a few times because I couldn’t bear the rejection.

“When you sort of hope that something might happen, it could just be that those signals weren’t picked up on – maybe I wasn’t crazy raunchy enough or whatever it is – for me it genuinely wasn’t about sex, it was about intimacy.”
