That’s a series wrap on Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore as Jack and Rebecca, This Is Us fans. The two actors are officially done filming their final scenes for the series finale, and we’re more emotional than ever. Ventimiglia and Moore were the leaders of This Is Us, and it’s more than fitting that their time on the show came to an end together, playing husband and wife.

Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore wrapped their final scenes as Jack and Rebecca in ‘This Is Us’

On Tuesday, May 3, Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore shot their final This Is Us scenes. And they shared videos from before and after they wrapped on social media.

The co-stars each shot their last ride to the set on their respective phones. Moore added the video to her Instagram story. And in it, Ventimiglia asks, “Mandy, what do we usually do when we’re in the van on our way to set?” Moore replies, “We run our lines. And we just did that. And then what do we always say?” He answers, “Should’ve shot it.”

The actors then reminisce that they were about to shoot their final This Is Us scene. Moore says, “We’re on our way to film our very last scene,” and Ventimiglia interjects, “Together as husband and wife.”

She emotionally states, “It’s only fitting we started this show together, and now we’re ending it together. Couldn’t happen any other way, right?” Looking at his TV wife, Ventimiglia responds, “No, it’s the only way.”

Of course, Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore didn’t give any more details about their final This Is Us scene. They appeared to be dressed and made up as they usually are in the ’80s. But knowing This Is Us, the scene they shot will blow everyone’s expectations out of the water. It could even be the final moment of the series. Whatever the case may be, we will miss Jack and Rebecca, who will always be one of the best dad and mom duos on TV.

Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore reflect on wrapping their final scene

At the end of his last day on the This Is Us set with Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia posted a video on his Instagram story as he left the studio lot to thank the fans.

The actor said, “So, that’s it. That is a wrap on season 6. That is a wrap for the whole series of This Is Us. Thank you for being a part of the journey. Thank you for being around for it all. Hope you’ve all enjoyed it. See you guys on the next one.”

On May 5, Moore posted her own goodbye via an Instagram post. The picture featured her and Ventimiglia hugging while the This Is Us crew clapped for them. The caption reads:

“Finishing the way we started. [Milo Ventimiglia] and I shot the very first scenes of the pilot together and got to finish our last scene of [This Is Us] side by side. I haven’t begun to process the end of this journey quite yet and I’m sure it will take me time. I’m still kicking myself over what I had planned to say to our magnificent crew and then crumbled and forgot out of emotion… but hopefully the gratitude came across. We still have 3 BIG episodes to share together. Stay tuned!!”

Thankfully, fans still have a few more weeks to prepare to say goodbye to Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore as Jack and Rebecca in This Is Us. But these videos undoubtedly made the fact that the series is ending very real.

What can fans expect from Jack and Rebecca in the final three episodes?

There are only three episodes of This Is Us left, and it looks like the spotlight will be shined on Mandy Moore as Rebecca as the series comes to an end.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jon Huertas revealed that Miguel’s death sets up the next few episodes. He said, “I loved how they told the story, how they brought Miguel’s conclusion around. I just thought it was done so well. And at the perfect time. It’s a couple of episodes before the end.”

Huertas continued, “Also, Rebecca has some problems, but she’s doing pretty well in [episode 15], right? So we know that when two people who are so connected and love each other so much, when one of them passes on, the other one is usually quick to decline. So in the next three episodes, it’ll justify the rapid decline that she may have.”

As for Jack, Milo Ventimiglia told Variety, “I think toward the end, we’re going to see all the sides of Jack. I think we’re going to understand who he was to his kids, understand who he was to his wife. The show was so front-heavy with Jack. Now, we’ve really invested in the stories of the kids and Rebecca. I think that’s where it’s ultimately leading, those loops closing. We already know Jack. He’ll be there, he’ll be around … I think the different versions of him will be popping up.”

This Is Us airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
