Comedian Bert Kreischer’s new comedy series, The Cabin with Bert Kreischer, hit Netflix in October 2020, and many viewers are enamored with the show’s wacky premise. According to Decider, in January 2020, Bert decided to live remotely (it’s worth noting this was before shut-downs due to the coronavirus pandemic) in a cabin outside of Malibu, Calif.

The reason for Bert’s removal from society is because, as he explains in the opening montage of the first episode, he needs to step back from his hectic schedule and restore his health and tranquility. “My name is Bert Kreischer. I’m a father, husband and a stand-up comedian. And I jam way too much into my days,” he explains. Of course, Bert is soon joined by other comedians and notable personalities, and the result is anything but tranquil.

Aside from all the laughs and goofiness, Bert’s wife, LeeAnn Kreischer (pictured right), appears often throughout the season. Whenever Bert FaceTimes LeeAnn to check in, their hilarious interactions and obvious chemistry have everyone wanting more info about their relationship. So what else do we know about LeeAnn? Keep reading to find out.

LeeAnn's funny anecdote about dating Bert

LeeAnn Kreischer, the wife to comedian Bert Kreischer, appears regularly in her husband’s projects and joins him during interviews and podcasts because they’re so hilarious together.

LeeAnn is from Georgia originally, as Bert revealed to Fatherly, and the couple married in 2003. When LeeAnn and Bert were on the podcast, Dr. Drew After Dark, on Sept. 6, 2019, they recalled a hilarious story about the rocky beginning to their relationship. Here’s what went down: Bert got in an argument with one of LeeAnn’s friends, which ultimately erupted into a stand-off with his then-girlfriend’s entire group of pals. After the fight, Bert brought flowers to all of LeeAnn’s friends along with handwritten apologies. He also made LeeAnn a mixtape. When LeeAnn went to Bert’s house to speak with him post-incident, she found him in the shower crying while drinking SlimFast. Sounds on-brand, no?

The couple shares two daughters: Georgia and Ila, and LeeAnn even interviewed her daughters on one episode of her podcast, Wife of the Party, which she creates out of Bert’s man cave. So if you’re in need of a laugh, give this hysterical, brilliant woman a listen.
