VUE Cinemas have polled 2000 Brits to discover the UK’s Greatest Kids Movies. But the only catch is that those polled had to be adults. Nevertheless, nine in ten of those polled admitted they still love watching kids’ movies and it turns out that Toy Story is the UK’s favourite, while surprisingly The Greatest Showman is way down at No 18.

1. Toy Story (34%)
2. Home Alone (33%)
3. The Lion King (31%)
4. Shrek (31%)
5. Harry Potter (31%)
6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (29%)
7. Mary Poppins (26%)
8. Finding Nemo (26%)
9. Jungle Book (25%)
10. Despicable Me (25%)
11. Ice Age (24%)
12. Monsters Inc (24%)
13. Beauty and the Beast (23%)
14. 101 Dalmatians (22%)
15. Wizard of Oz (22%)
16. Frozen (20%)
17. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (20%)
18. The Greatest Showman (20%)
19. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (19%)
20. The Incredibles (18%)

Of course, with Toy Story 4 and The Lion King remake arriving in the next couple of months, perhaps this factored into their high percentages of the vote.

Meanwhile, The Greatest Showman isn’t necessarily a kids’ film, but an all-round family musical.

Hugh Jackman’s movie has had incredible success dispute poor reviews from the critics.

So it’s no surprise that there seem to be plans for a sequel.

In April, Jackman said: “The real answer is ‘could be’, I’m not sure. I’m being completely honest with you, there is talk of something going around but no one is really sure.

“I think right now there’s more emphasis being put on what will happen with… I was doing my show, will there be another live version.

“No one is really sure right now, so that’s the honest truth.

“But I think someone is working on a treatment for something… I know they are, they’re working on a treatment for something.”
