THE Chase fans were left stunned after spotting a daytime TV star's "lookalike" contestant – but can you guess who?

ITV viewers were forced to do a double take when they mistook a contestant for telly favourite Judge Rinder.

Participant Rob from Carlisle joined host Bradley Walsh, 61, as he took on the Chaser to add £4,000 into the prize pot.

But fans were left distracted with many saying he's the spitting image of TV's legal star Judge Rinder – commenting on his strikingly similar facial features and his short blonde hair.

One eagle-eyed viewer shared: "Rob reminds me of a cross between Robert Rinder and Les Dennis #TheChase."

Another shared: "This bloke reminds me of an older Judge Rinder. #thechase."

"Hang on a minute..isn't that Judge Rinder? Looks exactly like him," a third joked.

Another agreed: "Is it me or does Rob look like another version of Judge Rinder #TheChase."

Unfortunately Rob was unable to beat Paul 'Sinnerman' Sinha and was caught just one place away from making it home.

PAUL'S FEARS

Paul, 51, recently opened up about his Parkinson's Disease and admitted his fears every time he gets a quiz question wrong.

He told Radio Times:"Every time I get a question wrong in a quiz that I used to know the answer to, I think, ‘Should I be worried?'

"And then I realise that everybody does it. I'm just quite pragmatic about it. "Yes, I'm 51, and I've got Parkinson's – things are going to fall out of my head, things are going to stay in my head."

Paul joined The Chase in 2011 as Chaser The Sinnerman and appeared before that appeared on many high-profile quiz shows.
