Although The Bachelorette Season 16 promos revealed that Clare Crawley had a passionate kiss with Dale Moss, he wasn’t the only contestant she locked lips with. There were two other eligible men who the 39-year-old hairstylist kissed on night one.

Clare Crawley felt instant sparks with Dale Moss on ‘The Bachelorette’ premiere

Although Dale Moss wasn’t the first man that Crawley kissed on night one of The Bachelorette, it was the most romantic.

“I definitely feel like I just met my husband. Oh my God, I’m shaking.” Crawley said after meeting the 31-year old Former Pro Football Wide Receiver.

Host Chris Harrison, who thought he had seen it all over the years, remarked that he never had a lead say that before, on night one.

“That feeling that I’ve never felt before,” Crawley told Entertainment Tonight. “Just standing in front of a man, connecting on that level, and it being electric between each other — I’ve never felt that instantly like that before.”

She also told the outlet that she did not speak to Dale before filming. Crawley respected the rules, but she did do a little research about all of the contestants. She knew going into the night that Dale “embodied” many of the things she was looking for in a man.

Blake Moynes was the first man to get a kiss from ‘The Bachelorette’

Clare Crawley revealed during the premiere that there was one contestant who did break the no contact rule — Blake Moynes.

“Blake was the only person that messaged me, the only person I had any contact, talked to, any sort of communication with [ahead of the season],” Crawley explained. “We’re given these rules to respect, the process of it all, and I definitely, 100 percent, respected the process. What he did, and the reason he did that, I also really respect.”

When Clare admitted during the show that the 29-year-old Wildlife Manager messaged her, it turned out to be a sweet story. She shared on Instagram that she was upset about her mother falling. So, Blake broke the rules to send words of sympathy to the Bachelorette.

The moment touched her so much that she planted her first kiss of the evening on Blake’s lips.

Crawley’s kiss with Ben Smith did not air during ‘The Bachelorette’ premiere

Crawley had a little bit of one on one time with some of the men after the entrances. Ben Smith brought a carnival game called “High Striker,” “Strongman,” or “Test Your Strength.” By hitting the pad hard with a sledgehammer a contestant will send the weight to the top and ring the bell. When Crawley swung the hammer, it didn’t ring the bell, but it hit something important.

“I think that was first kiss,” Ben tells Crawley. “I think I got the first kiss.”

However, the scene cuts away to Ben, taking a turn at the game. He hits the pad so hard that the weight flies up to “Engaged.” Then, the 29-year-old army ranger joked that he forgot to bring an engagement ring.

There is one of Ben and Crawley kissing in photos from The Bachelorette premiere, but the moment never aired. We might see the footage in an upcoming episode, or there wasn’t enough time for it. Fans may never know how the kiss went down.
