TESS Daley and Claudia Winkleman saw double yesterday when they came face-to-face with their wax figures at Madame Tussauds.

The Strictly pair beamed next to the life size replicas in Blackpool to which Tess even donated a gown she had worn on the show.

Both waxworks will form a centrepiece for Madame Tussaud new Strictly Come Dancing experience.

Tess Daly, said: “Reaching our Blackpool shows is a goal of every Strictly Come Dancing contestant and every year the entire team looks forward to returning to the home of British ballroom dancing.”

Last year  Claudia revealed that she and her co-host Tess have such a close bond that they would quit the show together should one want to eventually bid farewell to the sequin and sparkle of the ballroom.

She told The Sun's TV Mag: "When one of us is done, we go together. So she's not allowed to leave."

The Strictly Come Dancing presenters raised an incredible £780,000 for Comin Relief this year with the help of a string of celebrity guests.

The presenters took on the charity's longest-ever Danceathon for Red Nose Day live on BBC Radio Two.

Speaking after completing the impressive challenge, Claudia said: "I never want to dance again… I don't like movement."

Tess explained how her dance partner Claudia had kept her going through the intense challenge, adding: "She's had my back the whole way through. We've looked after each other. We've seen each other strapped up with tape. We both had a little cry.
