STACEY Solomon has updated fans with a new tour of the kitchen, swimming pool, and bedrooms at her £1.2m cottage.

The TV star posted a video tour on her Instagram Story of the sprawling property this morning.

Stacey, 31, showed off the house mid-transformation and revealed some of the walls at the property have now been plastered.

She said her oldest boys Zachary, 12, and Leighton, eight, have requested a mix of bold blues and grey colours in their bedrooms.

Stacey was up early as she headed out to work today, filming new show Sort Your Life Out, and shared videos of her kitchen when it was still dark outside.

Joe Swash's partner said the kitchen will be completely ripped out and replaced with a brighter aesthetic, including white worktops and walls with light brown kitchen cabinets as she shared photos of kitchens that have inspired her.

Stacey also plans to have bigger windows installed so that they can enjoy views of their huge garden.

Since moving into the cottage last month she's been busy modifying the space.

So far she's fixed up the property's outdoor swimming pool, but revealed she will be adding steps to make it more accessible.

Meanwhile, she completely transformed her little blue toilet herself also also turned her attention to the gorgeous stain-glassed conservatory.

Last month the DIY guru decided to tackle one of the bedrooms herself too.

Stacey decided to paint over the wood and tiles with matte black and grey paint, giving it a more neutral feel.

The mum-of-three then went on to explain to her fans how she gave the mantlepiece such a stunning makeover.

Stacey said: "I managed to do it. But not before Rex woke up, ran in and made a huge foot print in it.

"So I cleaned it, just with a damp cloth, and got the tile paint out. I went with a darker colour to cover and it still needed a thick coat to cover it well.

She added: "I didn't know how to theme the room around all that was going on in this fireplace, so as lovely as it was I needed something a little more neutral."
