Stacey Solomon has revealed that her natural teeth under her veneers are ‘black and yellow’ and it is her greatest fear for them to fall out.

The presenter, 31, opened up about her cosmetic dentistry during a segment of Loose Women discussing whether people would try DIY dental treatments at home.

Stacey revealed: ‘It’s my biggest fear, my teeth falling out, because it may come as a shock to you, but these are not real!’

When asked by Janet Street-Porter what she had under the veneers, Stacey confessed: ‘Nothing! When I got pregnant with [my son] Leyton, the front ones went all black and yellow-y weird colour and I lost a lot of the back ones, so I got plates over the top.

‘It was awful, I got plates put over them and they felt really bulbous-y and I was so sensitive to the point where I couldn’t even breathe in without thinking, “Ugh, it really hurts!”

‘So then I got them done again after that because they made me so unhappy and I finally feel a bit normal with them now, even though they’re obviously not normal because they’re not real.’

Stacey admitted that she loves natural teeth over veneers, adding: ‘But I think teeth is such a personal thing and any time someone talks about their teeth or hurting their teeth or pulling one out it honestly makes my whole mouth shudder!

‘I love natural teeth. I think there’s nothing that gives so much character to someone’s face.’

Thankfully Stacey’s got the perfect smile now that she has a set of veneers she is happy and comfortable with.

Janet had also admitted she had to have one of her own veneers superglued on after losing it when she bit into a peach right before filming.
