Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) has been attempting to avoid spending time with Kayden in EastEnders, but — after making a shock discovery during the previous episode — she does just that tonight, as she finds herself watching over her four-month-old son.

Sharon returned home during last night’s instalment, and — upon coming face-to-face with Karen (Lorraine Stanley) and Kayden — she sought solace in the pub with Linda (Kellie Bright).

However, as Linda packed her bags, she discovered a bag filled with Dennis’ (Bleu Landau) belongings since the time when he stayed over at the boozer, and among those belongings was a toy teddy, which the young lad had purchased for his little sibling.

Sharon questioned if she’d made the right choice in giving Kayden up and — tonight — she tries to distract herself.

She drops off some leftover baby items at Karen’s, but when Karen asks her to watch Kayden, she’s left feeling uncertain.

However, Karen later returns to find Sharon asleep with the baby, and reminds her that it’s never too late to change her mind.

In spite of Karen’s words, Sharon rushes off.

Later, she looks towards her future — with just her and Phil (Steve McFadden) — but is really what she wants?

Will she take back her baby?

Or is she intent on moving on with Phil and only Phil?
