Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) was already nervous about going on a date given the hits her confidence took in her relationship with love rat Adam Bateman in EastEnders – and devastatingly, her meal with Paul has ended in trauma as he drugged her drink and attempted to rape her.

Honey was put at ease as Paul plied her with compliments and she opened up to him about wanting to take it slow as her last relationship had ended badly.

However, when she headed to the toilet, sinister Paul put drugs in her glass of wine and Honey soon found herself being hit by the effects.

Dazed and barely able to stand, Honey was confused and bewildered as Paul took her outside, saying it’s time to take her home.

She managed to leave a slurred voicemail message for Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) who knew it was out of character for Honey to be drunk at that time of day.

As he arrived at the restaurant and was told that Honey had been drunk and left with Paul, Jay panicked.

In an alleyway, disgusting Paul photographed Honey and then was about to attack her when Jay called and heard her mobile ring out.

He chased off Paul and was horrified to find Honey out of it in the alleyway, completely vulnerable and likely traumatised.

As Honey recovers, will she recall the events and be able to ensure that evil Paul is arrested? And will Jay support her through her ordeal?
