As Daily Star Online previously revealed Wes Nelson, Eyal Booker, Samira Mighty and Zara McDermott have teamed up to form a Love Island supergroup.

Meanwhile, Vinnie Jones has also decided to continue with his involvement in the show despite the tragic death of his wife Tanya earlier this summer.

A source told Daily Star Online: "Simon has gone all out to revamp the X Factor.

"Rather than playing it safe some of the acts are obscure to say the least.

"On paper the Love Island supergroup shouldn't work but they have taken everyone by surprise.

"Despite them all not being the closest in the villa when it came to making a group they immediately gelled – vocally they are amazing."
