CELEBRITY SAS Who Dares Wins star Ferne McCann is embroiled in a bitter feud with her former friend and co-star Sam Faiers.

The pair are at war again after Sam, 31, accused Ferne, 32, of speaking badly about her to friends.

“Naturally Sam is incredibly hurt and upset by these comments especially from someone she considered to be a good friend,” a source close to Sam tells The Sun.

“She’s at a loss as to why Ferne has turned on her.”

Insiders say Sam has now blocked Ferne and this week, and unfollowed Ferne on Instagram.

The pair grew up together in Essex and later co-starred in The Only Way Is Essex – but Sam left in 2014, and Ferne quit two years later.

Their friendship became strained in 2017 when Ferne launched her own reality show, Ferne McCann: First Time Mum, which documented her pregnancy and the birth of daughter Sunday.

The launch of the programme came a few years after Sam launched The Baby Diaries, which was swiftly followed by The Mummy Diaries – and sources say Sam thought Ferne was “copying her”.

At the time, Ferne said: “The reason, as far as I'm concerned, is that she fell out with me is because I decided to take this show.

“We had like 15 years of friendship … all I'll say is it's a terrible shame.”

But the rift ended in 2018 at Sam’s sister Billie’s hen do in Ibiza – as Ferne is best friends with Billie, the pair had to come face to face.

Sam later revealed: "We haven’t spoken about it and I doubt we will. We’ve both moved on.

"We attended my sister Billie's bridal shower in Ibiza and we saw each other the other day at the Pride of Britain Awards, so we’re just over it now."

Ferne’s representative failed to respond to a request for comment, while Sam’s representative had no comment.

It comes after Ferne was seen breaking down in tears on Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins after admitting her relationship failures.

The TV personality is taking part in Channel 4’s gruelling series alongside the likes of EastEnders actress Maisie Smith and boxer Shannon Courtenay.

Ferne, who got engaged to boyfriend Lori Haines in July, told viewers: "I'm terrible in relationships. I don't think I've ever had a healthy relationship.

"I start dating someone, and it's very much all or nothing. Either they are dead to me and I cut them off or I'm obsessing. I need that reasurrance."

She first became emotional in last week's episode after she accidentally fired at the wrong opponent when the recruits were tasked with testing their weapon training.

SAS soldier Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham tried to calm her down, but she replied: "I’m just so royally f****d and done. I'm sick of crying."

Ferne has famously had a rocky love life, with The Sun exclusively revealing she had split from DJ Jake Padgett after they spent the second lockdown together.
