Ratings: ‘9-1-1’ Returns Propel Fox to First Place

Viewers wanted the Ryan Murphy dramas much more than “America’s Most Wanted”

Fox returned “9-1-1” and “9-1-1: Lone Star” last night, and boy were they a sight for sore (executive) eyes.

Last Monday, Fox tied Telemundo for fifth place in ratings. Last night, Fox won primetime outright.

NBC finished second on Monday, thanks to “The Voice.”

Fox was first in ratings with a 0.9 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.7 million, according to preliminary numbers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 0.7/5 and in total viewers with 5 million.

CBS and ABC tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.5. CBS was third in total viewers with 4.2 million, ABC was fourth with 4.1 million.
