PETER Andre admitted he was going through a 'mid-life crisis' when he arrived to wife Emily's student flat in a Lamborghini in the early days of their relationship.

The 47-year-old was ribbed by his other half on the latest installment of Life With The Andres when she recalled the moment he arrived in the flash sports car to her Bristol halls.

The 31-year-old said: "Do you remember that time you came to visit me in Bristol and it was snowing?

"You drove your Lamborghini to my student flat and everyone was like, 'who's this guy?'"

To which Peter responded: "That was probably the most stupid thing I've ever done."

Emily then revealed that the Mysterious Girl hitmaker "nearly died on the way" to her flat as "it was pouring with snow."

With hindsight on his side, Peter admitted: "I was dying to see you. What an idiot?"

Emily added: "The funny thing is you'd never do that now. You just wouldn't".

The I'm A Celeb alum then quipped: "I actually think I was going through a mid-life crisis."

Emily was a medical student in Bristol when they met in 2010 through her father who is also a doctor.

Peter had been due to appear at the Plymouth Pavilions when he was rushed to hospital in excruciating pain.

He had kidney stones and was treated by Emily's father.

Pete became close to the consultant urologist, and when he returned to perform at the Plymouth venue, he was introduced to Emily.

It wasn't long after Peter's high-profile divorce from Katie Price and he was concentrating on being a good dad to his children, Princess and Junior.

There was a spark between them though and eventually Peter plucked up the courage to ask his friend, Emily's father, for permission to ask her out on a date.

In 2012 they finally went public with their relationship at a Magic Mike premiere.

After around a year of dating, the pair announced that Emily was expecting their first child.

Peter proposed to Emily on New Year's Eve 2013 in their baby nursery just days before their daughter Amelia was born.

The couple finally tied the knot in July 2015 in a ceremony in Exeter's Mamhead House.

In 2016, Peter and Emily welcomed their second child together, a son named Theo.
