The season five finale of Peaky Blinders saw Tommy Shelby’s (played by Cillian Murphy) plan to take down Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) fall apart and as he realised he could be in danger, he fled into a field by his home and held a gun to his head. It looked as though it could be the end for the Peaky Blinders leader but even if he survives, it seems there could be a major shake-up in store for the Shelby family.

Throughout season five, Tommy was certain someone close to him was betraying him and trying to take over the family business.

For a long time, Michael Gray (Finn Cole) and his wife Gina (Anya Taylor Joy) were the main suspects before they were banished.

The big hint Michael could rustle feathers as the new leader of the family comes from a first-look snap from the set.
