ORANGE Is the New Black star Francesca Curran couldn’t look less like her on-screen character.

The American actress, who plays Helen Orange on the hit prison drama, is known for her shaved head and face tattoos.

Playing a neo-Nazi with a major chip on her shoulder, Francesca normally gives off bruiser vibes and has been involved in her fair share of violence.

However, in real life the blonde is a total glamour puss, as evidenced by her Instagram account.

Francesca often shows of her tumbling golden locks and immaculate makeup looks with her 74,000 followers.

With a penchant for contouring, full lashes and a perpetually glossy pout, the snaps are testimony to the power of the OITNB hair and makeup team.

The beauty’s latest series of pics left many fans in disbelief as they remarked on her radically different aesthetic.

“You are insanely beautiful! I just looked you up after finally getting round to finishing Orange and nearly spat my coffee out!” one stunned user commented.

“I swear to God I would never have recognised you if you walked past me on the street, can’t get over it,” another added.

Meanwhile a third exclaimed: “Is this seriously the same person?! Damn I need a glow up like Helen.”

Back In July, Francesca posted an emotional tribute to her time on Orange Is the New Black, timed with the release of the seventh and final season, which wrapped up this year.

“I knew this day was coming but didn’t really let myself come to terms with it fully. I first went in for OITNB on a hot August morning in a ripped muscle tank and construction boots. I was calm and collected, figuring it was a long shot,” she wrote.

“I gave it my very best. Two days later I got the call that changed my whole life. I was in the waiting room of a doctor’s office and sent my agent to voicemail. The voicemail said ‘pick up your phone, you got it’.

“I hugged the first nurse I saw and burst into tears. At that time I had no idea what exactly this show would mean to me. Absolutely no idea. As far as I knew, I had a couple lines. Oh boy, what a ride it was,” she went on.

“My time on OITNB was the most transformative and eye-opening experience of my life as both an actor and as a human being. Being on set with this incredible cast was a masterclass for me out of acting school.

“You lovely people took a big chance on me and unknowingly gifted me with belief in myself that wasn’t there before. You took a shot on me, and changed my life forevermore.

“I count my lucky stars for you every night. There aren’t enough words to properly explain how much I’ll miss being on set and surrounded by this cast.”

Away from the show, Francesca recently landed the cove of online magazine Pretty Smart.

In her interview, she opened up about her mental health and stressed the importance of self-care.
