Strictly Come Dancing viewers saw Dianne Buswell and Max George booted off the BBC show last night after they failed to impress the panel of judges, despite Head Judge Shirley Ballas opting to save the pair. It came after the star saw his score plummet to 20 points after having been much nearer the top of the leaderboard the weekend before. But, some fans have been angered by the surprise elimination and made their feelings clear on social media, recalling Max’s F-word blunder the night before.

Unfortunately, the pair met the end of the road last night and now, fans can’t help but refer back to something which happened during Saturday’s show.
The dancers have their microphones turned off to those watching at home during their performances.
However, straight after Max had finished his routine, he could be heard exclaiming: “F***king get in.”
Despite the pair clearly having been happy with their routine, they found themselves trailing near the bottom of the leaderboard.
Host Claudia Winkleman later apologised for the former boyband member’s language.
“I also just want to apologise for some language earlier that involved Max,” she told viewers.
“I don’t know the details, I don’t know if you heard. If you did, we are deeply sorry… even if you didn’t hear, we are sorry on every level.”
On Sunday night, viewers were in for a surprise when Max and Maisie were pitted against each other.
The two celebrities were both early favourites for the title when the competition had begun and sadly, Max was eliminated.
But some fans believe the star’s exit was somehow a “punishment” as a result of the unfortunate blunder he’d made earlier on, with some even branding the result “rigged”.
“Max definitely got sent home from @bbcstrictly as punishment for accidentally swearing and not actual votes. Strictly is my fave show but I’m getting proper p****d this year.”
“Sorry but the BBC have 100 percent rigged that because of Max swearing on last night’s show, and putting him up against Maisie being an unbelievably capable dancer, they knew he had no chance of staying in. They shouldn’t have turned his mic on anyway! #Strictly,” added another.

A third queried: “Was that Max’s punishment for swearing? #Strictly.”
“If the public voted for max to be in the dance-off because he was heard swearing at the end of his dance last night then, that’s f**king atrocious #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly #Max,” said another.
A fifth commented: “Maisie going through so they can punish Max for swearing. What is the point of the people vote? #Strictly.”
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Strictly Come Dancing for comment.
Max himself apologised on Instagram for the mishap after his dance on the live show.
He said: “Apologies by the way if I let out a bad word – it was just in the moment, I do apologise, I really hope I didn’t offend anyone.
“I hope the dance didn’t offend anyone either, so if you liked us please vote for us!”
Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to keep the pair in the competition, meaning there are now only eight couples left in contention for the Glitterball Trophy.
But who will manage to make it all the way to the Strictly Come Dancing Final 2020?
