Married At First Sight UK fans witnessed the second dinner party on Tuesday and cracks between fan favourites Amy Christophers and Josh Christie began to show. E4 viewers have watched the pair argue during ‘Yes week’ and on their honeymoon but in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Amy revealed there were plenty of important moments for the couple that weren’t shown on screen.

At the dinner party, Amy, who is a presenter for Racing TV’s #Raceday, admitted to her co-stars she feared the couple were too different in the way they showed affection amongst other things.

The experts picked up on Amy describing their bickering as “tit for tat” as she struggled to hold back tears.

Although viewers have seen the couple struggling in recent episodes, Amy noted there were happier moments that were missed.

Opening up on her honeymoon, she said: “So, we had an amazing day when we went out on Jet Skis.”

“It was just like so much fun and there was a GoPro and I just really wanted to see that,” she continued.

“At one point I nearly completely [came off it] my bum left the seat and I nearly got left behind.

“It was so much fun and we just laughed our heads off the whole time.”

Amy explained the dinner parties were times she could share how she was feeling with her co-stars.

She said: “There’s a lot of conversations that don’t make the edit, you’re around each other so of course you’re talking about what’s happening in your relationship.

“Bob and I would chat about football that was like my escapism because I couldn’t sit there and chat football with Josh so when I got there I’d be like, ‘Did you see that game the other night? Oh my god what’s happening?’”

The Married At First Sight star admitted she “cringed” at some of the moments that did make the cut.

“There were some bits where I was a bit cringe like the bit when Josh was rubbing chocolate on my bum,” she said.

“I was like, ‘Oh, crikey’ they proper went in there, my mum texted me and was like, ‘Why is your bum on my TV?’”

Since taking part in the experiment, the former glamour model and sports presenter joined Racing TV.

Explaining her role, she said: “We’re trying to appeal to a younger audience.

“We take them behind the scenes in places that they wouldn’t normally get access to so the parade ring, the weigh-in rooms, loads of different places that they wouldn’t necessarily get to see unless they were a jockey, owner, or trainer.

“We also have a pundit Megan [Nicholls] who is a jockey and her dad’s a world-class trainer, so it’s really exciting to have her on the team as well.

“She quite often goes and shows us behind the scenes of saddling up and things like that.

“Megan and I go into the weighing room, I’ve gone through our kit bag tried on her goggle silly little things like that.

“Things you would never get to see just showing a different side to racing.”
