MARK Wright has opened up about some incredible relationship advice he received from none other than Piers Morgan.

The former TOWIE star, 35, admitted his long distance relationship with wife Michelle Keegan is "hard" during an appearance on Loose Women.

Mark joined Ruth Langsford, Frankie Bridge and Steven Bartlett on Thursday's instalment of the ITV chat show.

The panel discussed how actress Michelle, 35, has recently flown out to Australia for her dream role, and how he manages long distance.

Mark and Michelle are rarely in the same country at the same time at the moment, as both have incredibly busy work schedules which require them jetting here, there and everywhere.

TV presenter Mark explained that an unlikely friend has given him some great words of advice.

Piers Morgan, who has been married to partner Celia Walden for over 12 years has shared some of his wisdom with Mark.

According to Piers, Mark should see his partner every three weeks, no matter the distance.

Ruth asked Mark on the show what it's like seeing Michelle after long periods apart, he responded: "If you’re in love and in a happy relationship you will be happy to see each other.

"You have to learn that you’ve been together for a long time and not seen each other in 3 weeks so it’s exciting at first but then it goes back to being a 10 year relationship.

He explained how he had met up for dinner with Piers Morgan whilst out in Los Angeles, and they'd spoken about how hard it was.

"I was in LA and had a dinner with Piers Morgan and I told him it was hard", said Mark.

He explained that Piers told him: "I had this with my wife and we have a 3 weeks rule so don’t let it go past 3 weeks".

When asked about the current situation with Michelle being in Australia, Mark said: "It’s tough though with Australia, it’s a lot of flying".

Michelle and Mark wed in 2015, and the actress recently headed Down Under to work on a new project.

Mark has been jetting all across Europe, recently visiting Croatia, Malta, Italy, Portugal and Majorca.
