LOVE Island's Terry Walsh and his fiancee Danielle Purdy have revealed they are expecting a baby girl – four years after he 'disappeared' from fame.

The former reality TV star, 32, was the picture of happiness as Danielle posted a snap of the two of them together holding an ultrasound image of their baby.

The best birthday present I could ever have wished for was seeing our baby again today ☺️ so special. We are absolutely over the moon to be expecting! We can’t wait to meet our little darling. Due February 21 ?? love you so much already! @terry_walsh88

The healing therapist captioned the post: "The best birthday present I could ever have wished for was seeing our baby again today ☺️ so special.

"We are absolutely over the moon to be expecting! We can’t wait to meet our little darling."

The next day, Danielle shared images of a gender reveal party where pink confetti bursting out of a huge balloon revealed the child to be a girl.

Captioning the sweet post, she wrote: "It's a GIRL thank you to everyone that shared this special moment with us. Over the moon."

Terry found fame on the second series of Love Island, which aired in 2016.

He caused a stir after having sex with fellow islander Emma-Jane Woodham, just three days after his girlfriend Malin Andersson was evicted.

Terry and Emma famously romped on top of the covers in the communal bedroom – to the amazement of many viewers.

Terry's wild days seem long behind him now, though, as he has shied away from the spotlight over the past four years.

In August, Danielle announced the couple's engagement with a post containing a number of snaps of the loved up couple.

Captioning the post she wrote: "Even though we were meant to be in Paris this weekend and this wasn’t quite what he had planned, it couldn’t of been more perfect.

"I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend".
