FANS are all saying the same thing after Laura Whitmore quit Love Island last night after a two-year presenting stint.

Laura Whitmore, 37, the Irish presenter of Love Island, picked up the reigns of presenting the show after her fellow broadcaster and friend Caroline Flack passed away in 2019.

The presenter will not be returning to host the show for the next season in winter 2023 after she opened up about "difficult" elements of hosting the show, including flying to and from Mallorca.

But fans are tipping their favourite celebs to take over from the Irish beauty – with many giving their blessing to Strictly's AJ Odudu.

One fan of the show tweeted: "@AJOdudu is the right person to host love island #LoveIsland with someone new and unknown for aftersun!!."

Another added: "Can we all agree that @AJOdudu would be a perfect host for the show!!" while a third agreed: "Only one women for the job – AJ Odudu to replace Laura Whitmore."

Laura had only planned to stick out the stint for a year, hoping to make Caroline "proud".

Taking to Instagram, Laura wrote: "Some news! I won't be hosting the next series of Love Island.

"There are elements of the show I've found very difficult that cannot be changed some due to the format, including the flying back and forth to South Africa along with my conflicting projects.

"I wish it was still possible but know you'll be in safe hands. I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a series and it turned into 3 series. I hope I did you proud Caroline."

Love Island returns in January 2023 for a winter instalment, which will be held in South Africa.
