Jeremy Clarkson fans saw the presenter dive into the world of farming earlier this year when his Amazon Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm launched. The farming show went down a treat with viewers as they were able to watch Jeremy’s adventures at Diddly Squat Farm. However, the presenter has now revealed his Grand Tour co-stars Richard Hammond and James May haven’t visited his farm since he began running it with the help of some local experts.

Jeremy chatted about his hit series Clarkson’s Farm during a recent interview on BBC Radio Two’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show.

He talked to host Zoe all about the farming programme and his new book Diddly Squat: A Year on the Farm.

Jeremy confessed his farming journey hasn’t been an easy one, but it’s something he’s very passionate about.

The presenter explained: “It’s incredibly hard work and the money is terrible, but I love it.

“There’s something about stomping around,” he added.

Keen to know more about Jeremy’s experience in farming, Zoe read out some questions from listeners.

She asked: “Have Richard and James been to the farm? And were they at all helpful?”

“I’ve named one of the fields after James May but not in a good way,” Jeremy remarked.

Zoe instantly burst out laughing as she wondered what the field could be called.

“They haven’t actually,” Jeremy said. “Well, no Richard’s been there. They’ve been here in the past I think.

“Well, they blew my house up so they were here for that. But, not since it was a proper farm, no they haven’t actually been.

“James is off filming one of his programmes somewhere and I don’t know where Richard is. I haven’t seen him in ages,” the presenter commented.

“Anyone seen Hammond? Anyone seen them anywhere?” Zoe joked.

Jeremy replied: “Yes, if anyone’s seen Richard Hammond do let me know where he is. I miss him.”

Worrying about Jeremy’s busy schedule, Zoe asked if he’ll be able to fit in time to film The Grand Tour around his work on Clarkson’s Farm series two.

However, Jeremy reassured Zoe there would be a new series of The Grand Tour coming out very soon.

He explained that the new series will be based in the UK: “We did one in England because obviously we can’t travel anymore or not for the last year or so.”

The star revealed despite enjoying his travel experiences in the past, he’s quite happy working on his farm in the UK.

Jeremy said: “I’ve led an incredible life and I’ve been all around the world, flown jets and done all sorts of things.

“But, I’ve ended up basically mowing stuff and I love it. Just going up and down and up and down in my tractor. Honestly, I’m so happy,” he confessed.

Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
