Jason Donovan has admitted he's concerned about potentially ruining any chance of further work if he picks up an injury on Dancing on Ice.
The stage icon is one of the 12 celebrities taking part in this year's series of the ITV show, with the Australian star partnered with pro Alexandra Schauman.
Jason, 52, said that his biggest fear going into the figure skating show is injury.
"It's not a solid floor, and ice is not forgiving," he said. "That's the jeopardy.
"I think for me, personally, I have other obligations beyond Dancing on Ice, so those have to be considered and balanced.
"You want to do the best show you can but you want to do a show that's safe as well."
He added: "It's that line between sexy TV and safe TV!"
And his family is concerned for his safety too.
Jason, who is married to Angela Malloch, said: "I think they're worried about injury more than anything.
"My wife didn't think that doing Strictly [in 2011] was a great idea until I started winning and then it was a fantastic idea."

The dad-of-three is known for appearing in shows such as Neighbours, but he's also made a name for himself as a stage actor.
He's taken on the lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, as well as playing Dr Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Show and appearing in other stage productions.
And it seems his experience in the productions have got him ready for the dazzling Dancing on Ice costumes he'll have to wear on the rink.

He said: "Listen, I've done Priscilla Queen of The Desert for two years on stage. I was in The Rocky Horror Show. I wore a coat of many colours!
"This is positively toned down. I am more than comfortable with fantastic costumes."
And had it not been for the coronavirus pandemic, viewers may have never got to see him in his skating outfits.
"I think in any other year I might not have had this much time to concentrate on something," he said, "and I think if you're going to do a show like this you need to dedicate your entire time to it.
"I couldn't be doing a show like this and look a producer in the eye if I was doing a theatre show and say, 'Look, I'm going on the ice for three months!'"
He added: "It's a unique opportunity, it's a skill, it's structure in a time when there's not much structure in our lives.
"It's good to keep fit, I really like that aspect of it.
"And my nine-year-old daughter is pretty pumped at the idea of seeing me dance on skates, so that's a big thing!"
Dancing on Ice kicks off on Sunday, January 17 on ITV at 6pm
