TV personality Jake Quickenden has confessed he could have done with the extra cash after he wasn't invited back to appear on ITV's I'm A Celeb: All Stars!

The 34-year-old, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in December 2014, revealed that he was left rather stunned when wasn't given an invitation to star in the spin-off show.

Talking exclusively to Daily Star about his thoughts on the programme, he said: "I was thinking where the freak is my invite?"

"Do you know what I mean! I would have loved to do that, I could have done with a bit of cash, I just got a loft conversion done," he joked.

Speaking honestly about the spin-off, Jake also confessed that he thinks the concept is "great"

He continued: "For me, I think it's great, I think anything to do with I'm A Celeb is great.

"I love the show, Ant and Dec are amazing, it's a bit of a new concept so we'll see how it does.

"I think it's a good thing as it's getting towards summer, people can watch it and have a nice glass of wine and enjoy the show."

The star added: "I think it's a great line-up as well, it would have been better if I was in it but that's another argument but yeah I think it's great!"

Jake, who came second place during his series of I'm A Celeb also gave his thoughts on whether he thinks the show is still as successful as it once was.

He said: "I think it still has got its legs! I think it's one of the only ones that still has, and if I'm honest it doesn't really need a break."

Speaking to Daily Star about other TV shows he would love to appear on, The X Factor star revealed that he would love to appear on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing but he was never asked.

He said: "Yeah I would love to do Strictly, for me it's one of the big ones that I haven't done!"

"I don't know if I could do it this year because I'm going on tour in August for something else, I can't really say what it is."

"But I never got asked so I thought I might as well fill my time, you know what I mean."
