Charlotte Hawkins has revealed that her daughter believes she is The Masked Singer's Harlequin after linking some clues to her mum.

The 45-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter hinted she could be the whacky character as she recalled the clues her daughter thought described her mother.

The character has also seen the judges and viewers guess that it could be singer Gabrielle and West End regular Beverly Knight.

ITV viewers tuning in this week also claimed they believed it could be Charlotte after one of the set of clues was about how the character "telling stories" as she is a broadcast journalist for the same platform.

Another one of the clues also suggested Harlequin was "up before the sun for work", suggesting it could be a newsreader.

Even Charlotte's daughter Ella Rose has now even predicted its her mother behind the mask.

Charlotte commented on the spin-off show The Masked Singer: Unmasked in a GMB clip: saying: "I have been watching the Masked Signer with my five-year-old daughter.

"She is convinced that I am the Harlequin."

Charlotte continued: "She's put the clues together, someone who gets up before the sun for work, someone who likes telling stories, whose words spread around the world.

"She looked at me when she heard that and she said, 'Mummy!'"

It comes after Charlotte's GMB co-star Ben Shephard fuelled the rumours it could be him behind the mask of Masked Singer's Badger.

During a handover segment to Lorraine Kelly, the 45-year-old Scottish presenter informed Ben that fans thought he could be the famous face behind the Badger mask.

A confused Ben replied: "Really? Tell me about Badger."

Lorraine, 60, added: "He's very good looking underneath it all."

"Badger can sing and dance so it can't be Ben," Kate, 53, joked.

Ben replied: "Neither can confirm or deny. I am a fan of Badger though.

"I mean who doesn't like badgers?"
