Lee, also known to be Victoria Sugden's rapist, died in October, 2019, after suffering from an intracerebral haemorrhage after being in a coma.

Prior to this, he had been attacked by Victoria's brother Robert, who hit him over the head with a heavy shovel.

2. Chas gets suspicious

Meanwhile, Chas Dingle (portrayed by Lucy Pargeter) thinks her mother is helping Moira (Natalie J. Robb) cheat on Cain with Nate Robinson.

Chas first gets suspicious when she finds a half-naked Nate chatting to Moira and doesn't believe any of their explanations.

She later overhears her sister-in-law speaking with somebody on the phone, arranging to meet them in her empty house and her suspicions grow.

The following day, Chas discovers Moira dressed in her robe and knows somebody could be hiding somewhere in the house.

She bursts into the bedroom… but is stunned when she finds her mother Faith inside as opposed to Nate.

3. Faith hides cancer battle

Little does Chas know Faith is still keeping secrets.

As mentioned above, Faith is battling breast cancer and has been keeping her condition a secret from both of her children, Chas and Cain.

When she is discovered in Moira's bedroom this week, the latter being the only one to know about her illness, Faith stuns both her and Chas when she flounders and explains Moira’s state of undress.

She soon feels uncomfortable when she realises how much her lies have escalated.

Faith is also forced to deal with the emotional weight of her diagnosis alone.

How will she cope?

4. Noah makes a cruel decision

Elsewhere in the village, Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) has been desperate to mend his relationship with his former flame Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland).

Unfortunately, the eighteen-year-old took things too far by stalking her and has had to face justice for his actions after he was turned in to the authorities by his mother Charity (Emma Atkins).

Noah has been holding a grudge ever since and their relationship could have become irreparable as he could be thrown behind bars.

Coming up, Noah tries to get his life back on track while waiting for justice to happen and asks for shifts at the B&B.

But he's annoyed when Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) refuses to go his way, prompting Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) to step in and stick up for Noah.

An eavesdropping Charity is grateful to see Mack publicly defend her son and later thanks him for doing so.

While the pair agree to put their argument to one side, Charity isn't as lucky with Noah.

She's shocked to learn that Noah's court date for his sentencing has been confirmed for the following week and is hurt by the distance between her and her son.

Noah is mad with Charity but, most importantly, worried about his future.

She tries to reassure him, affirming that she will always be there for him – but Noah refuses her support altogether.

5. David is in trouble

This week, David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) is running low on cash after the Covid pandemic.

David has asked Victoria Sugden to marry him but there's already trouble in paradise as he's keeping his financial woes a secret out of pride.

And he can't bring himself to bring up any of his issues.

While he'd rather keep everything under wraps, David is still desperate for support and turns to the only person he believes could actually help him – his father Eric Pollard.

David decides to bring up his financial worries to Pollard and explains how much the pandemic impacted his business.
