The Debbie Dingle star told fans on Twitter that she’d filmed her final Emmerdale scenes before going on maternity leave from the ITV soap.

Emmerdale cast member Charley Webb told her 448,000 followers at the weekend: “First day of maternity leave and the suns shining. YES!

“I’ll be found in the garden sunbathing (for about 20 seconds before one of the kids need me).”

Fans wished Charley the best but said that they’d miss her from the show.

One told her: “Enjoy Charley, make the most of your leave we will miss you.”

While another added: “Hope you will be back, enjoy your break.”

The 31 year old, who is married to fellow Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden (David Metcalfe), announced she was pregnant back in February,

The couple, who married last year, are already parents to Bowie, three, and Buster, nine.

Charley’s character Debbie Dingle was seen making things up with dad Cain (Jeff Hordley) on tonight’s episode of Emmerdale.

He apologised for trying to sell the garage behind her back.

Once they’d patched things up, he asked her: “You aren’t still leaving are you?”

However, Debbie didn’t answer him.

Charley has been playing Debbie Dingle since 2002.

Emmerdale continues on ITV tomorrow , airing at 7pm and 8pm.
