Tracy Metcalfe was left devastated on Thursday's Emmerdale as she discovered her partner Nate Robinson had spent the night at another woman's house and lied about it.

During the episodes, Nate met a woman called Fiona during a night out where she asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend after a random man wouldn't leave her alone.

After the two got on, a flirty Fiona asked Nate for a drink to which he politely declined before dropping his phone on the floor, which resulted in the device smashing and breaking.

Later in the episode, while Tracy waited at home after making a romantic meal for her partner, Fiona found Nate attempting to flag a taxi as he was unable to call for a lift home due to his phone breaking.

Fiona asked Nate if he wanted to come back to her home to call a taxi, to which he made clear he had a partner, and she revealed that she was on a break from her significant other.

However, it soon transpired that Nate ended up spending the night at Fiona's home, although soap watchers didn't see exactly what happened, while he insisted the next day to Cain Dingle that nothing went on.

Tracy was left concerned after Nate failed to return home from his night out while Billy Fletcher, who had originally been out on the drinks, pretended he had stayed the night at their house.

Nate went along with the lie as he took Tracy out for dinner to make up for him missing out on her romantic meal.

However, Ellis Chapman soon let the cat out of the bag when he revealed that Nate hadn't spent the night at his house, which resulted in him having to confess about his whereabouts.

Tracy demanded: "Stop lying to me! Where were you?"

To which Nate confessed: "My phone was smashed, I couldn't get a taxi so this girl said I could use hers. The girl that was in the bar, she said I could use her landline but I collapsed on the sofa as soon as I got to her place."

Tracy was left horrified as she replied: "You stayed at some girl's house?!" to which he added: "I swear to you, nothing happened!"

Storming out of the pub, Tracy accused Nate of lying to her and told him he could stay at Ellis' house for real this time.

Soap watchers have already predicted a "revenge" twist and think Fiona will show up in the village, where her story could be different to Nate's, as Tracy will want to uncover the truth.

One person said: "#Emmerdale Is that girl going to appear in the village and confront Nate??"

A different account put: "What's the betting the mystery woman Nate was with will walk into the pub? #Emmerdale."

Another follower commented: "#Emmerdale what’s the odds that woman will turn up in the village."
